Johns Hopkins University’s Whiting School of Engineering is partnering with Amazon to advance the technologies of Artificial Intelligence in natural language understanding, enabling more powerful image-based web-searching, and enhancing virtual commerce. The partnership — AI2AI, also known as the JHU + Amazon Initiative for Artificial Intelligence — will provide opportunities for students and faculty to solve AI challenges through PhD fellowships, gift funding, sponsored research funding, and community projects.
