Members of the WSE community joined us for a day of celebration as we honored the newly appointed Amazon Fellows and the winners of the 2023-2024 AI2AI Research Awards. The event featured research leaders from Amazon who shared their insights on current research directions in computer vision, speech and language, security, and responsible AI among other topics.

The event also included a spotlight on the research conducted by 2022-2023 AI2AI Research Award-winner Laureano Moro-Velazquez, a spotlight on the research and experiences of 2022-2023 Amazon Fellow Desh Raj, panel sessions, a poster session, and opportunities to connect with the Amazon + JHU research communities.
